Forecast rating · weather only. Ratings represent the backend-authored median across ski operating hours, not a prediction of reported snowpack or operating status.
A reported base is used only for forecast hours within 72 hours of its observation; later hours assume 0". Not an operating-status prediction. Rating coverage: 7/7 operating hours. Snow forecast confidence: high.
Inspect forecast hours with Left and Right arrow keys. Home selects the first hour; End selects the last. The Now marker stays fixed.
The glacier-blue line is the atmospheric Freezing Level: the altitude where air reaches 32°F. It is not the snow line or a prediction of surface conditions. Snow can reach below it, and missing forecast values remain unavailable.
The illustrated mountain is schematic. Base, Mid-Mountain, and Summit use Mountain Mystic resort elevation references; they do not represent separate elevation-specific weather forecasts.
Mid-Mountain is a representative elevation, not a weather station or exact lift location.
Hourly Mystic Ratings describe forecast weather using the same MIE curves and rating buckets as daily ratings. They do not project reported snowpack, operations, or the full resort rating.
Past forecast is subdued; future forecast is solid. The dashed Now marker stays fixed while the blue inspection cursor moves. Hours use America/Los_Angeles; the selected-hour readout includes the timezone offset name on repeated DST hours.
24/24 source hours available. Elapsed hours are forecast, not observations. Archived forecast backfill is not a captured historical Mountain Mystic publication. Missing values remain gaps.
No eligible station observations are available.

See how eligible forecast models differ across the same valid times, accumulation window, and mountain elevation. This comparison is separate from Forecast Confidence and model Agreement.
Model range: low-to-high cumulative forecasts among comparable deterministic models. A narrower band can reflect fewer remaining models, not convergence. It is model disagreement, not a probability interval. Mystic Blend is shown only as a reference and can have one contributor where marked.
Accumulation starts Oct 7, 23:00 UTC and stops permanently at the first missing required hour. Daily checks complete calendar days independently. Totals use the shared accumulation baseline. Select a model total to show or hide its chart line; every eligible model remains in the table.
Mystic Blend can represent one eligible model family where marked.
